Light an incense stick, slide the bamboo end into the slot at the top, and let it burn upside down. The smoke rises along the crescent while the ash drops into the bowl below, so your table stays clean.

Important: slide only the bare bamboo end into the top slot, leaving at least 2–3 cm of bare bamboo between the slot and where the incense starts. This way the stick goes out before the ember reaches the holder. Do not push the incense-coated part into the slot.

Safe use: never leave burning incense unattended. Place the holder on a flat, stable surface away from curtains and children. Empty the ash from the bowl regularly and wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from direct heat and temperatures above 50°C.
